Importing honey to Australia

We have had several customers asking us whether they can import honey into Australia.

We cannot import any honey or honey products into Western Australia, Tasmania or the Northern Territory. This includes any items with beeswax, propolis or royal jelly. All parcels imported into these states will be checked and opened by Customs Inspection. Any parcels with these banned items will immediately be destroyed. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that the items they are ordering can be imported into their state, and for the customer to check any custom duty charges.

Please read the following information about honey restrictions in Australia. http://www.agric.wa.gov.au/objtwr/imported_assets/content/pw/q/qhoney_dlsheet.pdf Remember, if you are unsure whether it is okay to import a certain item please contact us beforehand so we can check for you. We cannot refund or compensate for items destroyed by Custom Inspection.
